Description
The Bedford 18-2940 is a compatible replacement for Graco parts 244881 and 244-881, a male gland for Graco spray equipment. The male gland is the nose-profiled ring that nests into the V-packing stack in the pump’s fluid section; paired with its female counterpart it keeps the packings compressed so they seal around the piston rod under pressure. Sold individually, so you can order exactly the quantity a service job needs. Compatible with Graco Xtreme 145cc (600) and Xtreme 180cc (750).
Common reasons for replacement:
- Fluid leaking past the packings even after tightening
- Pressure drop from a packing stack that no longer seats squarely
- Grooving or corrosion on the gland face after long service
- Renewed along with new packings during a pump repack
Manufactured to OEM-equivalent dimensions for proper fit and performance.
