ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The DI-SKID-24 System performs a 3-stage purification process*:
Stage 1: (3) 13″ x 54″ Worker DI Tanks
Stage 2: (3) 13″ x 54″ Polisher DI Tanks
Stage 3: (1) 5 Micron Sediment Filter
What Happens When The Tanks Are Exhausted?
Option 1: We have conveniently equipped each 13″ x 54″ tank with the Clack C1190 head. Using the C1190 head allows you to change the resin in each tank yourself. Simply remove each tank from the skid, remove the C1190 head, empty the resin out of the tank and re-fill each tank with SAP-MB-450 resin. The exhausted resin is not hazardous and can be disposed of at any waste removal facility. It will take 22.5 cubic feet of resin to re-fill all 6 tanks. Contact us for special pricing on replacement resin.
Option 2: You can order entirely new, pre-filled 13″ x 54″ tanksfrom us and simply change out the tanks on the skid. This can be a much quicker option to keep your system online. Some customers keep their spare tanks to fill with resin, so that fresh tanks are always ready for quick replacement. *Every Serv-A-Pure DI system can be custom designed to meet your specific needs. Capacities:Every system is capacity checked to ensure you get the highest quality tanks. The capacity of this DI system is dependent on the quality of the water going in. Lesser water quality fed to a DI tank means it will produce fewer gallons of pure water. The better the feed water, the more gallons of pure water the DI tank will produce. The following chart is to be used as a reference only for the number of gallons a DI system of this size will produce. For more detailed information about capacities, please contact our engineers.
