Description
This in-line circulator has a cast iron casing and impeller construction. It includes companion flanges for standard piping installation between 3/4″ and 1-1/2″ sizes. The unit uses a replaceable cartridge bearing assembly equipped with an alloy steel shaft and a cupro-nickel shaft sleeve, which isolates internal bearings from system fluid temperatures. An interchangeable two-piece carbon and ceramic mechanical seal prevents leakage under normal operation. A rugged flexible rubber drive coupling connects the motor to the pump, which absorbs both angular and parallel misalignment during operation.
The motor operates at 1/8 HP and 1750 RPM, powered by a 115/1 supply. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
