Description
This in-line circulator uses 3″ companion flanges and a replaceable cartridge bearing assembly that isolates internal bearings from system fluid temperatures. The unit includes an alloy steel shaft with a cupro-nickel shaft sleeve. Its internal structure contains a two-piece carbon and ceramic mechanical seal, while the casing and dynamically balanced impeller use cast iron or 304 stainless steel construction. A rugged flexible rubber drive coupling connects the pump to the motor, absorbing angular and parallel misalignment during operation. This configuration works well for heated or chilled water circulation, primary-secondary loops, and zoning large installations.
The pump operates with a 3/4 HP motor running at 1725 RPM within an open-drip proof (ODP) enclosure. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
