The York S1-404281 BI-Flow Filter-Drier is a crucial accessory in the HVAC systems and is primarily used in heat pumps. This device has two purposes: it safeguards the system and enhances the operations of the system. It plays a crucial role of a cleaner in that it traps unwanted material as the refrigerant gas, including dirt, debris and corrosive acids that may harm other components. As a drier, it is capable of wicking up moisture which leads to freezing, corrosion and poor performance. The bi-flow design allows refrigerant to flow in both directions, thus suitable for heat pumps that reverse the cooling cycle to heating. It comes with dimensions of length by width by height of 12” by 4” by 4”. The SAE, 5/8” x 5/8” connections can be fitted to standard HVAC systems.
