Description
The Johnson Controls T-8000-70 is a two-position bulb element thermostat that maintains the HVAC temperatures constant and is installed in the heating system. It has a remote sensor with a 15-foot-long capillary tube. This tube contains a liquid or a gas that expands or contracts with the change in the temperature of that surrounding area. This pressure change is communicated through the capillary to the main body of the thermostat where it flips a switch. This switch then energizes heating or cooling equipment in the room if the temperature rises or falls beyond this set point. The remote sensor measures temperature in a particular area, thus giving you better control over your heating and cooling system.
