The Sporlan Controls 400429 C-082-S Liquid Line Filter Drier 1/4″ ODF is a sealed Catch-All type refrigerant filtration component used in refrigeration system to remove moisture, acids, and solid contaminants from the liquid line in HVAC systems. It features a molded desiccant core that absorbs and retains moisture while also capturing particles such as dirt, solder debris, and sludge to protect downstream components like expansion valves and compressors.
