The Sporlan Controls 402152 1-Core Drier Filter that is designed to protect HVAC systems from damaging contaminants. It has a C-489-G desiccant core which allows the unit to eliminate moisture, acids and other contaminants from the refrigerant stream. This drier filter assists in preventing system failures, enhancing energy utilization and elongating the service time of the compressor and expansion valve by eliminating moisture from the refrigerant. This gas is widely used in many HVAC applications including residential and commercial air conditioning, refrigeration and chillers.
