Description
The Trane COM10282 Scroll Compressor is a heavy-duty performer that provides substantial cooling for large commercial and industrial applications using the eco-friendly R-410A refrigerant. Unlike the piston type of compressor, this Trane compressor is a scroll type to enhance the functionality of the machine. Two intertwined scrolls located in the closed casing work as a powerful pump, compressing the refrigerant gas. This design equates to a massive 4.75 tons (approximately 57,000 BTUH) that is suitable for managing large cooling loads in large spaces. Brazed stub tubes provide a leakproof passage for refrigerant flow with the assistance of POE oil for lubrication.
