Description
The Carrier 38HQ660014 is a compressor lockout sensing relay, a vital component in Carrier HVAC systems. It safeguards the compressor, a motor up to 2.4 horsepower, by monitoring electrical signals. In normal operation, the relay interprets the signals and allows the compressor to run. However, if it detects issues that could harm the compressor, it prevents lockout by interrupting the power supply. This prevents potential damage from overheating or other malfunctions. This lightweight relay (0.29 lbs) operates on 208/230V power and contributes to reliable and efficient operation of your Carrier HVAC system.
