Description
The Trane BRD5478 Control Board is the main component of the Trane HVAC system, it is the control center of your system. This circuit board has an approximate dimension of 9.0” length, 4.0” height and 6.0” width, and it is the central hub for communication and control within the system. Temperature sensors and thermostats in your Trane unit send information to the BRD5478. The board interprets this information, temperature, humidity, and other conditions that exist in the environment. Depending on data received, it sends commands to other system components such as the compressor, the fan, and the humidifier to ensure that it get to the comfort level you require.
