Description
The Bedford 43-2249 is a compatible replacement for Graco parts 112-589 and 112589, an u-cup seal for Graco spray equipment. A U-cup is a lip seal shaped like an open channel: system pressure spreads its lips against the rod and bore, so the seal actually tightens as pressure climbs. Compatible with Graco Mark V SpackMax.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Hardened or nicked sealing lips found at teardown
- Pressure loss that tightening does not cure
- Renewed whenever the assembly is opened for service
- Fluid weeping past the seal under pressure
