Description
The Bedford 18-1616 is a compatible replacement for Graco parts 168852 and 168-852, a bearing for Graco spray equipment. This bearing guides its moving shaft or rod, taking the side-loads so the precision surfaces around it do not. A worn bearing lets the rod run off-center, which accelerates packing and cylinder wear well beyond the cost of the bearing.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Renewed during a fluid-section or drive rebuild
- Play or knock in the rod as bearing clearance opens up
- Accelerated packing wear from an off-center rod
