Description
The Bedford 9-1595 is a compatible replacement for HERO part 17S, a ball for HERO spray equipment. This ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump’s fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Compatible with HERO 1000 MD, 1100 MD, 300 GSD, 300 S, 300 SL, 330 SEL and other HERO equipment.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
- Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
- Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
- Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
