The International Comfort Products 1067525 Crankcase Heater Belt is a 40W, 240V heater for HVAC compressor that has a diameter of between 5-1/2” to 7”. This crankcase heater prevents the refrigerant from condensing in the compressor oil, the unit is off and thus protects the compressor when it is switched on. Proper regulation of the oil temperature also ensures optimum operations of the compressor, decreases the possibility of the inveterate damages and enhances the lifetime of the compressor. It is used widely in the air conditioners, heat pumps, and other equipment, all in an attempt to have efficient and reliable equipment in cold climate.
