The Lennox 92L83 is a Condensate Trap, a small component of the HVAC system but is essential. This black-colored trap is designed to be installed directly into the system drainage line. In use the HVAC unit generates moisture or what is referred to as condensate. It captures this condensate and ensures that it does not return to the unit. By doing so, it reduces foreseeable mold formation, corrosion of system parts, and contamination of the zones with sediments. That helps to save time and keep the reliable and expensive HVAC equipment away from possible losses.
