Siemens 331-4551 Pneumatic Damper Actuator, Model No.3, is a high performance component used to control the movement of fire dampers in HVAC systems. An actuator that delivers reliable, precise control of airflow for regulating and providing fire safety standards at a pneumatic spring range is 5 to 10 PSI with a stroke length of 2 3/4″. The damper is driven pneumatically, or by compressed air. The actuator’s spring mechanism repositions the damper to either open or close to control the flow of air through the ductwork, when the air pressure is applied.
