Description
This in-line circulator has a 3″ flange connection and uses a replaceable cartridge bearing assembly. The casing and dynamically balanced impellers use cast iron construction. The internal design includes an alloy steel shaft with a cupro-nickel shaft sleeve, while a two-piece carbon and ceramic mechanical seal restricts fluid contact with the internal bearing assembly. A flexible rubber drive coupling connects the motor to the pump shaft to absorb both angular and parallel misalignment during operation. This unit is suitable for heated or chilled water circulation, primary-secondary loops, and zoning large installations.
The pump uses a 3/4 HP, 1725 RPM, open-drip proof (ODP) motor configured for single-phase voltage. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
