Description
The Trane COL16278 is a key component in air conditioners and heat pump systems, and is designed as an evaporator coil with a drain pan. This is a coil designed also to contribute to the cooling process made specifically from aluminum to make it strong enough to absorb the heat transfer that is required. This refrigerant takes heat away from the air and thus making the air cool. This heat trapped in the house is transferred to the refrigerant and the refrigerant takes out this heat to the outside unit. The self-containing drain pan of this is intended to hold condensate that may develop on the coil during use.
