Description
The Trane HTR1789 is a high-output 9.6 kilowatt 240 Volt electric heater for retrofit to forced air heating and cooling systems. These raided systems operate with ductwork to connect different rooms in a house or any building. The trane operates through heat transfer where the unit generates heat through passing an electrical current through a coil of wire. This heat is then transferred to the air circulating in the HAVC system where its temperature is increased. The warmed air is then circulated in the building through the HVAC system and so adds the value of warmth to the building. Such electric heaters as the Trane are commonly used as the second source of heat in areas with relatively moderate winter.
