Description
The Trane KIT5232 is a pre-assembled bearing, boot, and flange kit for a variety of HVAC applications. This little kit, about 3″ long by 2.25″ wide, makes a nice replacement for worn-out HVAC system components. The bearing has a round diameter of 1/2″ or 12.7 mm and supports a spinning shaft while moving smoothly with zero or minimal friction. It’s a boot usually of rubber or plastic to protect the bearing dirt and debris and therefore extend the bearing and reduce noise when in use. It also provides a sturdy mounting base for the whole assembly in the HVAC system.
