Description
The Trane PLT4093 Burner Plate Assembly with Gasket is a gas furnace essential part of the Trane furnace. When the setpoint of the gas is reached opens and natural gas flows through the gas-jets to mix with the air. The burner plate is then covered with this mixture which travels across the burner plate with an ignition source which creates a continuous flame. The stable flame and proper gas and air mixing required in efficient and safe combustion depend on the burning plate assembly. The gasket helps make a tight seal between the burner plate and the furnace heat exchanger to prevent combustion gasses from finding their way into the surrounding area.
