The Trane TUB11758 is a condensate tube assembly suitable for use with Trane HVAC equipment only. This assembly is 16” long, 0.9” high and 1.8” wide and it is essentialin terms of controlling moisture. When in use, your Trane HVAC system generates condensate, which is byproduct of the cooling process. This condensate drainage is then carried efficiently away from your HVAC unit to avoid formation. If condensate is allowed to pool, it can cause mold formation, possible water damage, and less than pleasant smells.The also includes a trap within the design so that condensate cannot flow back into the system.
