Description
The Bedford 9-1642 is a compatible replacement for Wagner part 51519, a ball for Wagner spray equipment. This ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump’s fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Compatible with Wagner 1000 SE, Wagner 1025, Wagner 3500 (Piston series), Wagner 400 SE, Wagner 500 (Amspray), Wagner 500 SE and other compatible equipment.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
- Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
- Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
- Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
