Description
The WIKA The model IS-3 pressure transmitters with flameproof enclosure have been designed specifically for the high demands of industrial oil and gas applications. IS-3 intrinsically safe pressure transmitter has been designed for gas hazardous areas (EPL Ga) and can also be used with combustible dusts (EPL Da) and in mines susceptible to firedamp (EPL Ma)
Features:
- Approved for use in hazardous areas, e.g. ATEX, IECEx, FM and CSA
- Ignition protection type intrinsically safe (Ex ia) with Equipment Protection Level (EPL) Ga, Da, Ma
- All wetted parts are manufactured from stainless steel and are fully welded
- Applications include refineries and petrochemical industries, oil/natural gas and machine building.
- The model IS-3 and its predecessors have been used reliably for over 20 years.
